The seminar “Stable Isotopes in Archaeological Research: Methodological Problems and Historical Issues” brought together researchers studying the isotopic composition of archaeological objects made of metals, glass, archaeobiological objects, etc.
The creation of such a seminar makes it possible to discuss the existing methodological problems of isotope studies of historical and archaeological objects, controversial procedural moments, non-trivial results before their final publication. The possibility of holding this discussion in a friendly working atmosphere is, in our opinion, a central point in the seminar.
The conference will be held on March 17, 2020 at the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences: 19, Dmitriy Ulyanov Street.
